After I mix a one-shot & let it steep, does a juice made from it need to steep anyway?
I would be grateful for tips on the matter.

G**gle Transe says:
A new documentary, “You Don’t Know Nicotine” 2 argues that everything we thought we knew about nicotine could be wrong. Even more provocative is the claim that our ignorance of this is the deliberate result of a campaign of deception fueled by selfishness, greed and black money.
It’s hard to believe that a documentary that focuses on a single chemical compound, nicotine, would be particularly attractive to a large audience. But the film is about a lot more. Using the science of nicotine and related political action as a starting point, You Don’t Know Nicotine raises questions about the reliability and trustworthiness of our nation’s health authorities. The film reveals that a relatively small group of stakeholders have managed to manipulate the truth to achieve their own ends, given enough time, money and power. Interviews with scientists, activists and consumers also examine the devastating effects these manipulations have in the real world - as well-meaning as they are issued.
Most of our ideas about nicotine stem from the anti-tobacco education efforts that began in the 1980s. Thanks to these efforts, there is no longer a debate about the harmfulness of smoking today. Since then, however, the nicotine associated with this flaw has led to the belief that it is precisely the nicotine that is addictive and that nicotine causes cancer. Such ideas demonize the substance and stigmatize its users, regardless of how and why they ingest nicotine. The documentary shows that these ideas are not only wrong, but also harm individuals, public health and science.
In a fascinating section of the film, some leading experts in nicotine research are interviewed. They list a wide range of diseases and conditions that could benefit from nicotine: Tourette’s syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, ADHD, Down’s syndrome, depression in old age, and cognitive decline in the elderly (a precursor to Alzheimer’s disease), to name just a few.
For many, however, the benefits of nicotine are even more subtle, such as those with attention or mood disorders and mental illnesses. It seems to help your brain “feel good and work better,” as one expert put it.
This could explain why many smokers become used to and have difficulty quitting, not just because they are hopelessly “addicted”, but because they are getting real, therapeutic benefits from nicotine. But despite decades of research into it, the promising therapeutic potential of nicotine has been largely negated by the healthcare sector because of its seemingly inseparable association with toxic cigarette smoke.
Whether or not medical societies accept this, there are likely many people who use nicotine as a form of self-medication, like Dr. David Abrams from New York University (NYU) School of Global Public Health. For most, that means smoking cigarettes, a habit that kills millions of people around the world every year.
Therefore, says Abrams, it is important for science to find safer ways of consuming nicotine. He was one of the first to call for a ban on nicotine-containing vapor products (“e-cigarettes”). Today, however, Abrams believes that these could be exactly the kind of safe nicotine replacement products that will save the lives of those smokers once they switch to this burn-free alternative. “Science has come a long way in the last two or three years, and there is consensus now, so I’ve changed my mind,” Abrams told the filmmakers.
Unfortunately, not everyone from the academic world but also from the public health system is ready to adapt their own opinions to current science at the same time. Quite a few even try to stop such research or even prevent the resulting results from being recognized at all. This kind of pushing through agendas and also suppression of non-conforming views has no legitimate place in science, but has now become ubiquitous in the field of nicotine research.
Throughout the documentary, sections from the filmmakers’ interview with Dr. Stanton Glantz, one of the most influential tobacco control activists shown. Recently, he has also been railing against nicotine, and he always interprets this very generously in his favor. When asked if nicotine has any

I would love for the NET topics to stay public, nothing beats NET e-liquids in terms of realism, I think all can benefit from these topics and learn a thing or two

I should have published this long ago. Some minor changes were in progress so I decided to send these individually. Then of course I usually space it.
I designed these to be very easy and user friendly. Shown is a Dremel 4000 but the RTX and Tacklife fittings are very similar.
Pictured is the GC as you will receive it. The single black part will be taped in taped inside the housing for shipping. I call this the drive adapter. Remove every thing from the nose of your rotary tool including the collet and collet nut and screw the drive adapter onto the threaded spindle until it seats.
Insert the homogenizer into the housing and lock in place with the thumbscrew.
That’s all there is to it. However, clean it first thing. I have cleaned it and ran it in a alcohol solution and there may be residue. Besides, some postal worker might have sneezed on it
Cleaning is very easy. Insert something like a mod screwdriver or allen key through 2 of the 6 lower ports (holes). This will keep the rotor from turning while you unscrew the driveshaft form the rotor. You hold the black drive adapter and unscrew the driveshaft. The driveshaft will lift out the top. The rotor out the bottom. I use a small bottle brush or just run under hot tap water.
Pictured are the parts:
On top is the stator tube and bearing housing. On the bottom left to right is the rotor, driveshaft, a Teflon washer (must be used) and the lower half of the drive. Never loosen the grub screw in the drive adapter.
Reassembly is of course the reverse.
For cleaning between mixes I simply run the unit slow in a glass of distilled water. I disassemble and clean after the mix session.
Enjoy and feel free to ask any question any time.

Well for a while now I stopped using my scale other than making my base and stones. I think out of laziness I started making 120ml of base. Makes making 10ml tests super easy. I don’t measure my flavours anymore(I do have some mixes that I do use a scale for but that’s when I make a 120ml). I just use drops when I make my 10mls. Cut the tip down on your base dispenser so it will flow faster and there you go super easy for me anyways.

Hello,
I am joining noted on 1/18 for Cantaloupe. It’s a flavor I like, so even for not being the worlds best flavor tester, I hope I can contribute.
Do you have any recommendations for me? I have CAP/FW and I have TFA incoming.
So I am looking for other flavor manufacturers, percentages. Everything which could be worth sharing as a guest.
Thank you.

I want to make 100ml of an ejuice but the recipe is for 120ml.
Obviously I need to reduce each ingredient equally to get to my target of 100ml.
(I bought a bunch of lab materials…beakers, bottles, etc. that are 100ml)
(A) Am I correct that reducing everything equally won’t change the recipe?
and
(2) What is the math to do that?

Huge thanks out to @FlavorJungle for sending these out for review. All were mixed and tested at the percentages listed, and tested on a SteamCrave RDTA v.1 @ 65 watts on dual, vertical, Kanthal 24ga. 7 wrap coils. Fresh cotton and dry burned before every test, using KGD cotton.
Lemon (Flavor Express) 3% (12-24-20) – Unless you’ve been living in a cave, you’ve heard of FE Lemon. Lemons can be a fickle bunch, some favor natural, others candied, and many just fade out making them surprisingly harder to get right than you would think. Flavor Express did a GREAT job with this one. To say they nailed “Lemon Heads” is an understatement, as this is EXACTLY a Lemon Heads flavor. It was a nicely candied lemon flavor that felt and tasted somewhat more complex than a simple candy lemon. Nicely sweet and tart, but never too much of either. No lemon pledge was present, and surprisingly this COULD be vaped solo. Plenty of high end sparkle, with mid and a few lower notes kept it interesting throughout the tank. I’m guessing this one would favor cereals, and bakeries slightly more than pure fruit mixes, and it’s fading or lack thereof will have to be determined later. For a candied, lemon head flavor this is about as good as it gets. If you are a purist natural lemon-er you might not rate it as high, but as this stands, it’s solidly a 9.9/10.
Mango (Flavor Express) 5%
Sweet Rice (Flavor Express) 4% (12-24-20) – I have used this one countless times, but never got around to SFT it until now. Right out of the gate, this one was deliciously accurate, creamy, and almost had some elements of a rice pudding. NOT a pudding flavor, but the creamy sweetness of it just led to that profile assumption. At 4% it was really good, and could go higher or lower. Nothing off-putting, and, it had about every aspect that you could want, in a “rice” flavor. Surprisingly good, as a solo, and despite not being overly complex, it did keep you interested throughout the tank. This should not be confused with a “crispy” rice, as it was not, and was more of a sticky, sweet, thai rice almost. Although you may not create a lot of “rice” recipes, this could clearly be used in a multitude of mixes none the less. Having no other “rices” in my stash, this one will stay in there, and I will probably start using this quite a bit. Accurate, sweet and cream rice is exactly what this one is. 9.8/10.

In thinking about what I’m trying to do at the moment when creating a recipe, I wondered what others were thinking when doing the same thing. You may be looking for the right flavors for a customer, maybe you’re trying to create something that’s never been done before, perhaps your main objective is usually an ADV or a novelty. I’m curious about your habitual diy thinking and would love to hear about it.
My objective right now is to find flavors that pop for me and put them together in the simplest recipes I can. I’m not caring so much about identifying them with anything else, just as long as they’re tasty for me. What’s your thing right now?

Hey Friends, i wanted to get some insight into the process of adding my Nic to my finished e-liquid solution. I usually mix on a mag stirrer and gently heat my mix, just cause i usually batch 500ml per mix… unfortunately ive never thought to much about this but ive always added my nic before heating and stirring, shortly after the mix is finished i drop the mix into a deep freeze to rapidly bring the temp down again. Am i doing myself in here of affecting the quality and longevity of my nicotine… how do you guys mix large quantities, id love to hear your feedback
